Hey There, Book Lovers!

My name is Carrie Schultz, born and bred in small town Milverton, Ontario.  As you have surmised, I love to read and thought how amazing it would be to share that passion with other fellow readers!  It turns out, there's a lot of you in this book community, and I'm grateful you're here.

Books are a way to forget your troubles, escape reality and follow in the footsteps of someone else's story.  Books seek to make you laugh, cry, ugly cry, but they also serve to scare, surprise and inspire!  

I hopped on the Blind Date with a Book theme because I simply loved the idea of having someone else handpick a book for me, adding all the goodies to make it extra special and cozy.  I hope you will give on of our Blind Dates a try, as it really is an inexpensive treat for yourself or someone you love.
